Beyond Sales & Marketing

I've just done coaching calls with three wonderful people who were struggling with the concept of traditional sales and marketing. The thing is that these are people who are getting that we're entering a whole new era of how business operates. You probably will notice this yourself as, like so many now, you avoid anything that is trying to sell you something. So what are sales and marketing being replaced by?

1. Authentic, genuine expression and wonderful engagement with resonant people is where it's at now. Be true to yourself in everything you create and be good to everyone you come into contact with. .

2. We want to uplift, inspire and empower people now, so pointing out their problems and issues to be fixed or solved can occur like diminishment instead of empowerment. For me, the recognition of genius, mastery and unique awesomeness is where it's at these days.

3. I use a greater calling with resonant players to get my webinar series to fill. And if it's not right for someone in their current circumstance then I am more likely to talk them out of it and point them in the right direction because I'm up for the fulfilment of the greater game and each person's unique contribution to that as opposed to making money at any cost.

4. If I have an exciting new idea, I dive in and put it out there. It can take me about an hour to get a webpage up and something to promote it. Planning for me is a waste of time because everything moves so fast that it's the now that matters.

5. The more you love what you do, the more great vibes soar across the matrix of connections and ping something with those who resonate. Then the magic takes over and somehow they find you in ways way beyond marketing techniques.

6. I have thrown the term professional out the window. Being really me is more engaging to people than me trying to look or sound a particular way to match professional standards.
